About Us
Almost uniquely, we are a professional TV company providing a repair and spares service for LCD & Plasma Televisions. We are NOT a reclamation company!
We are based in Maidstone, Kent, UK and were founded as an independent company in 1995. As an established company, search engines usually put us on their front page when searching for TV Repairs, TV Parts, LCD TV Parts or Plasma TV Parts etc.
We do not claim to be the biggest supplier of new or used parts but we aim to be the best.
Can anybody buy your parts?
Yes, we do now sell to the public but 80% of our parts go to fellow professionals as they have proven the fault and are aware of any pitfalls. Therefore we highly recommend that if you are not a qualified television engineer then you take your equipment to somebody who is.
Despite what other sellers and internet forums tell you, diagnosis of the fault and replacement is not always that easy. Plasma parts are especially difficult, where it is all too easy to damage other parts of your set if you do not really know what you are doing. Many TV parts are just not simply, plug n play!

Be warned! eBay sellers and other internet flat screen TV part shops have sprung up recently who just sell stripped out TV sets without any technical knowledge.
To protect yourself. Make sure that they have a real business address and phone number to contact them if things go wrong! It is illegal to trade if they do not disclose this along with their VAT number if registered.

Quick answer is YES.
Cheaper prices than advertised is obvious but being able to offer qualified professional advice prior to purchase is unique if you need it.
Unlike other suppliers, we are a professional repair company first and foremost and as such, fully appreciate the difficulties you can encounter and are geared up for the trade. We would never supply a part that we wouldn't use ourselves.

What guarantee do you offer?
We fully guarantee that the part is not faulty or DOA. (Dead On Arrival)
That said, we always take every case on it’s merit. If you have a problem with one of our parts within 30 days, then please contact us.
Please be careful before ordering, as some parts can be instantly damaged upon fitting if another part has also failed.
New parts are assumed to be in perfect working order. All used parts supplied by us have been tested by professional engineers and are known to be in satisfactory working order prior to storage.

Are these parts new?
Mostly but the condition is stated in the description, under the part number.
A lot of our new parts are purchased in bulk from either the manufacturer or other 3rd party suppliers and we may not receive them individually boxed. If this is the case, then we try to re-test the parts if possible. If we are able to do this, then "Tested" will be seen under Additional Information. If not, although we have no reason to question the part, we will state that the part is used.
We are unique in that we only purchase individual parts from quality professional sources and all have been checked by a fully qualified TV Engineer prior to storage.
We do not purchase sets with a fault in an attempt to harvest it's parts.
Nor do we strip old tired sets for the parts.
We are professional engineers, not a reclamation company!
We log all our parts history and and group them as follows;
New: Boxed brand new parts supplied by the manufacturer.
This category also includes new parts purchased in bulk from the manufacturer and retested prior to storage.
Refurbished: A part repaired and tested by us prior to our own use or for sale.
Used: A part that is usually taken from a new set that has had other damage in the factory or upon delivery. Alternatively, it may be used but usually under a year old.
Either way, it will be tested by a qualified engineer prior to storage.

I think I have found the part I need. How do I know it is the correct one?
Part numbers that we provide are either the manufacturers part number and/or labels printed on the panel.
Always compare with the photo and make sure that all connections are identical.

Sorry but no. We are professional engineers first and foremost and do not have the resources to do research on your behalf.

I have found the part number I need but the manufacturer / model / chassis number is different.
Manufacturers usually provide parts to be used in many other models/makes of equipment. The list of models/chassis is probably only one of many the part is used in.
If you are unsure about compatibility then Contact Us and we will do our best to confirm its use.
Please bear in mind that if you decide to purchase, then discover that it is in error, then you will not be able to claim a full refund. A deduction will be made for postage and restocking.

How can I pay for the part?
We accept most major Credit / Debit cards ( American Express is not supported ) via our checkout which is 100% safe and cleared by Visa and MasterCard.
Please Note: The bank that issued your card does not matter but it must have either the Visa or MasterCard Logo to be accepted.
Cash on collection is available.
We no longer accept payments by cheque.
PayPal is also unsafe as your account is too easily compromised. Read more.

VAT
All prices on our website include VAT at the current rate.
Please note that the email you receive when you purchase on-line is not a legal VAT document. Every order we send comes with a correct VAT invoice.
All UK and European Customers are charged VAT at the current GB rate.
We do not offer any VAT Free transactions. If you are Tax registered then you will be able to claim the cost back in the normal way.

When will my part be sent?
Parts are usually dispatched within 24-48 hours depending on the day/time of order. Latest time for same day dispatch is usually 3pm UK time. Exceptions are weekends, UK public and company holidays, etc.
We will endeavour to inform you of delivery times or any problems that may occur. However, we can not be held for responsible for any delays due to the delivery service.

Do you sell to any country?
Unfortunately not. We can only send parts to the UK and most of Europe. A list of countries we can send to is listed here.

Can you help me with any problems I have changing the part?
We will do our best to help non engineers but please bear in mind that most of these parts are not plug & play. Without using the correct setting up procedures, then the part may well be damaged. If you are not qualified as a TV/Electronics Engineer then you are still welcome to purchase from us but getting somebody suitably qualified to do the installation is highly recommended.

Will you accept any returns?
If an error has occurred on our part, is damaged in transit or proven to be DOA (Dead On Arrival). We will replace the item if possible or the cost of the item will be refunded in full.
In these circumstances, we reserve the right to request that the part is returned to us prior to any refund.
If an item is purchased in error or not required, then a charge for restocking will be deducted from the original purchase price.
The restocking charge covers our original postal & packing costs, paperwork involved and the CardSave reversal fee.
